Performed as part of the Berlinische Galerie's contemporary arts program, Future Nows was a durational performance piece that unfolded over a two-day period. The work saw the artist meticulously re-arranging and interacting with a series of everyday objects, using subtle movements and choreographed gestures to question the distinction between the mundane and the significant. It was a commentary on the fleeting nature of the present and our ongoing, often contradictory, relationship with progress.
